Hey! I'm Sarah. I’m a photographer, a website designer, a blogger, I live on the Mornington Peninsula with my husband and two kids. We love exploring, bush walks, beach days and travelling to new and exciting locations around Australia.
I grew up on the Mornington Peninsula where I met my husband at school and discovered my love of photography. Until a just a few years ago it was simply a hobby, a way to capture my son growing up and our family adventures until I decided to take the plunge and start Sarah Jane Photography.
I started photographing families, and quickly realised that while families and kids are fun, I really wanted to set myself a challenge and that’s when I jumped in feet first and started photographing weddings. I honestly couldn’t choose which one I love more, every family session, newborn session and wedding is a new adventure!

While I love the photography part of my job, my real passion lies in helping you realise that you don't have to do things the way you're "supposed to." You don't have to stand a smile at the camera. And I hated seeing how many wish they captured themselves, their families in true authentic form and not stressing over the kids staying squeaky clean and stand still (if your kids do that, great! Let me know your secret). Run around, splash in the ocean, tell fart jokes... what ever makes it fun, real and authentic!
